Washington State Legal Software
DIYD Legal Software uses HotDocs
Software that allows the user to answer questions once thereby flowing through to all
the documents you require.
Using an intake interview questionnaire, our paralegals can process all the data
for a divorce with no dependent children in less than 10 minutes (5 minutes if
there are little or no liabilities or property). This includes the
Petition, Confidential Information Form and
Summons. You can review the forms in the document preview window and
then send them to
Microsoft Word
or PDF for printing. When additional documents are required you
can assemble each using the saved client answer file, spending just moments
adding additional data when necessary.
HotDocs is an award-winning software application that
significantly reduces the time spent generating customized documents, such as
contracts, sales proposals, government and court forms, legal documents, loan
applications, and medical forms.

the Self-Support Reserve
Washington State Courts use the self-support reserve to calculate low income limitations
when setting child support. The self-support reserve is 125% of the federal poverty
guidelines.
RCW 26.19.065(2). Washington State uses the poverty guidelines updated periodically
in the Federal Register by the U.S. Department of Health and Human
Services under the authority of 42 U.S.C. 9902(2). The poverty guidelines were updated
in the Annual Update of the HHS Poverty Guidelines, 77 Fed. Reg. 17,4034 - 4035
