III. Residential Schedule

The residential schedule must set forth where the child(ren) shall reside each day of the year, including provisions for holidays, birthdays of family members, vacations, and other special occasions, and what contact the child(ren) shall have with each parent. Parents are encouraged to create a residential schedule that meets the developmental needs of the child(ren) and individual needs of their family. Paragraphs 3.1 through 3.9 are one way to write your residential schedule. If you do not use these paragraphs, write in your own schedule in Paragraph 3.13

Figure 1 shows the following option: "Select "Yes" if you will not be using Paragraphs 3.1 - 3.9 and would like to add the following language to each paragraph, See Paragraph 3.13. If you prefer different language use the other option in each paragraph."

3.1 Schedule for Children Under School Age

As shown in Figure 2, you have the following options:

  • [ ] There are no children under school age.
  • [ ] Prior to enrollment in school, the child(ren) shall reside with the [ ] petitioner [ ] respondent, except for the following days and times when the child(ren) will reside with or be with the other parent:
  • [ ] Not Applicable
  • [ ] See Paragraph 3.13
  • [ ] Other

This demonstration does not have children under school age.  However, Figure 3 - 6 demonstrates this option. As shown in the completed dialog in Figure 3, selecting the second option will allow you to answer additional information required by the court form. The program allows you to add as many from (day and time) - to (day and time) as needed. See Figures 3 - 6.

As shown in Figure 3, we select the "petitioner" to the above question and an additional icon (link) is displayed with the wording, "3.1 Schedule for Children Under School Age - Select Day and Times."
